Dr. Hanan Gazit serves as the DiGRA ISRAEL Chapter, promoting the DIGRA's vision and the use of virtual worlds and digital games as instruction, learning & business tools in all sectors.

Dr. Gazit is a researcher and a lecturer at the Instructional Systems Technologies Department in H.I.T-Holon Institute of Technology. He holds a PhD degree in the Learning Sciences and a Magna Cum Laude M.A degree in Science Education from Tel-Aviv University. His PhD thesis focused on analyzing real-time interactions in virtual reality environments. He served as the chief designer and team coordinator of the ILA City Project, an innovative academic e-learning course developed at Tel-Aviv University. Dr. Gazit is a former post doctorate fellow researcher at LIRT Lab, the Institute for Interdisciplinary Applications of Computer Science, CRI.
Prior to his academic career, Dr. Gazit served in the I.D.F as an instructional design expert and founded the Infantry Corpus Instructional Design and Training Development Unit.
